Basic Corset Making Workshop

During this 2 day basic course you will learn how to make a corset based on the Victorian styles. You will learn about the traditional techniques of corset making using coutil, and the different types of boning.  You will make up your corset in a special fashion corset fabric and finally you will learn how to lace up the corset correctly so that you can lace it up yourself whilst putting it on.  You will take home your finished corset.

Use of sewing machines and all equipment and materials needed to make the corset are provided.

The course starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm each day.
