Beginner Plus workshop : Joanne Top

Autumn is here and now is the time to start thinking about wearing something a little warmer.  This top is ideal as it is made in a lovely fabric, not too thick which can be worn with dungarees, trousers and skirts.   When you have learnt how to make it, your next project could be to make it into a dress, so easy to do and you will have a stylish stretch dress.   You will make the top in only 3 1/2 hours.

Use stretch fabric to learn how to make a turtle neck top.  Choose to make the top with long or short sleeves.  You can make the top in any size from size 8 to size 30.  

Learning Objectives:

- to sew stretch fabrics with confidence using a sewing machine

- to be able to make a turtle neck top

-to learn how to sew in a sleeve

- to learn how to work with stretch fabrics

-to make a top

Depending on your skills and ability, you will finish the top in class.  If not, you will be given detailed information on how to finish it at home.
