Sew your own top : Beginners workshop

Beginner – Easy to Sew,  suitable to make as your first dressmaking project however you must be able to use a sewing machine.

You can make your top in size 8 to size 30.

You will use the Stitch Clever Debbie Dress Top pattern which has been designed by Sheila-May to be very easy to make for those of you who have never previously made a garment.  There are no zips or fastening, no facings to sew and the neck edge, and hems are all finished with a simple hem.  The sleeves are gown on so no difficult inset sleeves to sew.  This design is great for every figure type.  You will learn about pattern markings, how to cut out the fabric and how to sew the top.  You will make the top in a stretch fabric.

You will leave the workshop with your finished top and the confidence to make the top again as a project at home and you really won't want to stop at one. When you realise how easy it is to make and how lovely it fits, you will want to make more.

All equipment, materials and fabrics are included.
