Learn to Crochet Workshops in Birmingham
Updated: Aug 18
No one knows exactly when crochet first started, however it is believed that In 1829, the first crochet pattern was written by Mademoiselle Riego de la Branchardiere. The daughter of a French father and an Irish mother, she is known as the mother of crochet and said to be the creator of the Irish crochet style! At 18 she published her first book about fibre and needlework.
What we do know is that crochet is a great craft. It is easy to learn, all you need is a crochet hook and some yarn, and you can be very creative with it. When you start crocheting you will soon become hooked.
Crochet is becoming more and more popular and due to the number of requests I have received, I am now offering crochet workshops, from absolute beginners to granny squares, necklaces and even earrings.
On this workshops you will need all you need to know about each project, all materials are provided and you will have the opportunity to meet like minded people, whilst enjoying tea, coffee and cake.
