About the Event Have you every made a dress or top from a pattern and discovered that it doesn't fit? This is because the patterns are made for a "standard/average size. A large or small bust, is not taken into account. The shape of the bust and cup size is also not taken into account, with the average pattern styled for a B cup fit. This is a practical workshop, where you will learn pattern fitting problems. You will learn how to fit you pattern tissue to your body shape. You will understand how to choose your correct pattern size and the fitting problems include, bust adjustment, sway back, and shoulder variations. You can bring your own pattern that you want to adjust to fit or you can work using a 1/4 scale pattern block. All workshop materials are included. Tea/coffee provided.
